STOP AND FRISK

The NYPD has an illegal policy called stop and frisk. This means that they will simply stop and frisk men of color in minority communities an any time without the required reasonable cause that the law demands. This does not occur in wealthy communities becasue the NYPD knows that this would cause an uproar and those communities have real power. But the minority communities are not able to muster the same amount of political power.
